1974 - 2004 – Bell Canada - cable splicer, lineman, frame man, 879 Special Services, Step X Step, #5 Xbar, SP1, mini-computer group, 7 years bench repair, operator services tech, power tech for Eastern Ontario

2005 – Retired from Bell Canada

2005 - 2008 - Communication Hardware Installation (contract)

 

Amateur Radio History

 

1987 – First Licensed as VE3PXZ after OVMRC Amateur Radio Course

1989 – Certificate of Proficiency Advanced Amateur (15 WPM)

1993 – Emergency Measures Radio Group certification

2000 – Applied and Received “initials Call sign” VA3JPG

2018 – Joined QCWA and Chapter 70.

 

Member (off and on) of OVMRC, OARC, WCARC and MARG

Participated in several Field Days over the years

Have operated CW, Phone, and Digital Modes on HF, VHF and UHF bands

Love to experiment with wire antennas
