* Attended the University of Evansville IN 1968-1969 (Electrical Engineering)

* Associate of Science, Northwest Vista College (Business Administration)

* Employed in the information technology field since 1970. Held various positions such as: assembler programmer, applications programmer, business analyst, technical analyst, systems engineer, technical architect, product manager, data processing manager, and divisional director.

* Direct experience in process control, writing operating systems, systems engineering, communication systems, network management, system architecture and design, transformation and implementation, as well as various levels of corporate management.

* Currently operate JBPrice in San Antonio. JBPrice provides RF based services such as Access Control Systems, RFID and RTLS systems, and physical perimeter security systems.

* FCC Commercial Operators License with Radar Endorsement

* RFID Certified

* Certified Technical Trainer

* Microsoft Certified Trainer

* Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer

* Certified Netware Engineer

 

Amateur Radio History

* First licensed in Quebec City as VE2GHF in 1981. Radio was HW-8

* Held N5FLR in Houston TX. Radio was a Hallicrafters and Hammarlund setup.

* Held VE3CDA in Ottawa. Radio was Yaesu FT-767GX

* President of the Ottawa Amateur Radio Club 2003-2005.

* RAC Director for Ontario, North and East 2005-2007

* Currently hold AD5YY San Antonio TX (Extra), and VE3CDA (Advanced).

* Family hams: Ted Turner VE3LV (SK), Fred Price (KE5LGO), Dennis Cartwright (VA3DWC), Frances Cartwright (VA3FEC)

* Main interest is rag-chewing.
