We are sad to announce the passing of Chapter 70 member Fred Green - VE3IO on Feb 4 at the age of 93. A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb 12 at 1:30 PM at Southminster United Church, 15 Aylmer Ave (Bank St at the canal) with a reception after. Details in The Citizen of Sat, Feb 6.

New Chapter 70 Members Since Last Dinner Meeting

The Chapter 70 Executive and members warmly welcome the following new members:  Michael Babineau VE3WMB and Ron Powers VE3FIN.

Weekly Open Breakfast

Non-members are welcome to join us for breakfast from  8:30 to 10:30 AM Thursdays at  Summerhay's Grill - 1971 Baseline Rd. Map.  

Quarterly Chapter 70 Dinner Meeting

Chapter 70 Dinner Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of February, May, September and November, with an interesting after-dinner speaker. The May meeting is our Spouses' Night, featuring an after-dinner presentation of interest to both members and their spouses. The November meeting includes our legally-required Annual General Meeting with election of our Executive Board as well as an interesting guest speaker.  For next meeting  program and map to our dinner meeting location, click here.

Estate Sales

The family of R.O. (Al) Hewitt VE3DA (now SK) has donated the attached list of amateur radio equipment to Chapter 70 for disposal, with the proceeds to be donated to recipients of our choosing. Chapter 70 thanks the family for their generosity.
